Artwork Services
Free Design
All our products are made to order. Prior to ordering any product, our design team will provide free virtual artworks so you can see what your product will look like with your brand design and to check that you are completely satisfied before the manufacturing stage. Virtual artwork checking makes sure that you are receiving the perfect product.
Supply us your artwork
When submitting your logo and artwork files, our preferred format is either an AI, EPS or PDF file that is ready for our design team to make any edits (can be in any version of Adobe Illustrator). This is the fastest way to receive your free virtual design. Files in these formats contain vector images created entirely in digital form which enable us to resize to any specification while still keeping 100% print quality.
If you are unable to provide files in the above formats, the next preferred format is either a PNG, JPG, TIFF or PSD file. If your logo or artwork is not too complex, our design team will do their best to recreate your artwork using Adobe Illustrator to transform the image to a fully digital, print ready vector file. However, very complicated designs may incur a small charge, but most simple designs are free.
What is my company font?
Your company logo and text may have been created using a specific font. When you send files, please be sure to provide all images needed, outline all fonts in the artwork file or provide us the font files (or the font name). Your designer should know which font(s) they used to create the text, but if not, we will do our best to match your font with, or suggest a choice of different fonts.
What are vector graphics?
"Vector" graphics can be scaled, moved and re-sized according to art requirements and printable area of the promotional product without quality loss or distortion. The image below shows a logo being scaled and designed for manufacturing.
What colour is my artwork?
Your company logo should be created by a designer who knows the colours used in your artwork. The most commonly used recognition system that printers use to determine the exact colours of your logo is called a Pantone Colour System.
However please bear in mind this should be considered as a rough guide only, as colours will vary on different computer screens and office printers.
There are many other types of colour recognition systems, for example, CMYK or RGB. Don’t worry if that’s all you have, as our design team can convert it to or find the closest PMS colour for you. We can also print your logo even if it is Full Colour, like a photograph or a logo with many gradients.
Where can I place my logo?
Please indicate if you have a preferred position where you would like your logo printed on your promotional merchandise. On many custom giveaways you can choose exactly where you would like your logo printed, but many other items only have certain “print areas” available on the product. The print area shows the optimum place for your logo to be printed. Many products can also be printed in multiple areas, like non-woven tote bags which can be printed both sides.
Please ensure that you check all product artwork proofs / visuals such the position of your corporate logo, text, images and print colour(s) etc. Before production can be confirmed we won’t do anything until we have received further instruction from you that you are happy with every detail.
Please note that an additional small charge may apply if a promotional product requires extra special bespoke details. We will let you know if this is the case.
